All HMBus Routes are operated by professional coach operators appointed as part of a comprehensive contracting process. Their modern coaches are of a high specification, with seatbelts and tracking facilities to allow pupils and parents to monitor the location of each vehicle. All drivers have Enhanced DBS checks and are ‘OCC-badged’ i.e. they have undertaken Oxfordshire County Council’s driver/safeguarding training. All routes use only a small pool of consistent and regular drivers who are familiar with the travel arrangements for each pupil.
The five HMBus operators are:
- Grayline: Routes 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7
- *Horseman: Routes 4, 8 and 12
- Worths: Route 9 and 11
*Routes 8 & 12 will be operated by Barnes Coaches and Ready Bus respectively – details will be updated shortly.
