Hailed as the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2025 by VisitEngland, the Black Country is brought to life with spectacularly detailed replica of 19th century life. You can experience an underground mine, with regular tours giving an insight into how the mines were run, and get a feel for working life in an important part of the Black Country’s history. Fast forward to the 20th century, and you can get a feel for “new town” life with a thrilling interactive experience, whether it’s conversing with fully-costumed characters from the era, or a walk through the Industrial Quarter showcasing the development of industry in the Black Country over these years.
