For the academic year 2026/2027, the city35A service will be a dedicated “home to school” service and will not be open to the general public. This will mean that we will not be able to offer ticket sales on-board for occasional travellers, and all customers travelling on these services must be in possession of a valid pass purchased in advance.

Please note that these passes are only available to passengers 18 years or younger and in full time education, for the FULL DURATION of the pass.

Refunds are not typically available for route-specific Academic Annual products and in any case will be made solely at our discretion. When you purchase an Academic Annual pass and choose to pay in instalments (where offered) you are committing to making all future payments due as detailed at purchase. We're committed to working with customers experiencing difficulty making payments but ultimately reserve the right to pursue all avenues to recover outstanding balances. In cases where a pass is no longer required (for example, due to a change in school), we will first attempt to find another customer to take the place. In cases where this is not successful no refund will be offered. Where this is possible, a partial refund will be offered to the value of 20% of the total ticket price per any wholly unused term.
